“We booked a small room and thsts exactly whst it was..hence my 'ok' stay .not fault of the hotel but it was small so bit hassly for us. However It was quiet and comfortable and for the price csnt really grumble.”

“Room was clean and view was excellent overlooking the sea. Breakfast very good and dining room clean, bright and well appointed. Staff were pleasant although reception area not the best as they were sat in a cupboard and you spoke to them through a hatch which wasn't great.”

“The location had lovely views across the bay The room was much smaller than the picture shown and quite basic Bathroom was also basic & dated Toilet had long standing stains right at the.bottom...so room was just ok for an overnight stay”

“I would NOT recommend this ‘hotel’. I actually thought I was squatting in a derelict building. The property has not been well maintained and smells strongly of damp throughout. My bathroom door wouldn’t shut, the tv didn’t work, the WiFi didn’t work and the bed was really uncomfortable.”

“We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings”

“Just had two nights at the Boot and Bike. Got say it was amazing. All the staff were great from the cleaner's to reception to the restaurant. Breakfast was super. The dog friendliness was too the extreme in a good way to left for our cockapoo. We made use of the dog washing area after a day at the seaside. Had supper one night and the Saturday night small plate special. Amazing. The company deserves to go from strength to strength. Many thanks All of you at the Boot and Bike Steve Annie and...

“From walking in I loved it. Everything you need. Clean, spacious room, comfy bed, lovely fresh bedding, nice towels, tea/coffee making facilites, tv. Would defo recommend. When I come back to Whitby I will stay here again. Parking just outside.”
