“First hotel with a pool where you have yo pay to use the pool ! which is very small. The hotel is very old inside , thick carpet throughout makes it smelly. The room is clean inside, bathroom is clean but old. There is a carpark very close to the hotel (Palm court) at an extra cost. It's centrally situated , near shops and restaurants.”

“We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.”

“I arrived on a Sunday and had sent a message several days before to say that I would like an evening meal. I went to the dining area at 8pm only to be told that the kitchen had closed for the evening so I was unable to get anything to eat that evening although I was offered crisps. On arrival I was told that the bar would be open until late so I assumed that I would be able to get a bar meal up until about 10pm. “The facilities are being added to : restaurants etc. our room, themed room: Cape Town was decorated to good standard. The best breakfast, parking and access was very good. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. It was great experience and would go again Thanks to all the staff.”

“We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings”

“Beautiful location and friendly host and staff who did everything to make our stay a memorable experience. As we and other guests were visiting the Teddy Swims event in Scarborough the host played his video in the lounge and waited for everyone to return after the event. Property is dated but as the saying goes “if it works don’t fix it.””

“Lovely spacious room, decent price, quick responses to all my enquiries and parking for 48 hours at £3 is a bonus!! Only downfall was the shower was a bit dirty and dusty, other than that it's a great place to stay, close to the sea front and town centre! Would stay again! :)”

“For the cost of the room I expected more modern decor and room facilities. Very basic bath/shower combo, basic tea making facilities and dated decor/room furniture. The view from the room was fantastic but the view alone shouldn’t warrant such high prices.”
